In Memoriam

Dec 1, 2009

It is with profound regret that we have to inform the BKF that Ritchie Noblett, 8th Dan Wado Ryu, has sadly passed away.

Ritchie, a former Welsh international, was one of the early pioneers of Karate in Wales. Richie was also a former WKGB Ltd National Coach and a former Welsh Sports Council Coach of the Year.

He ran his own Karate Association, Welsh Bushikai, one of the premier associations in Wales, and the Welsh Bushikai Karate Team competed in many Karate competitions across Great Britain.

The WKGB Ltd. would like to offer their sincere condolences to Ritchie's wife Liz, and to all of his family and friends.

Roger Williams
On behalf of the Welsh Karate Governing Body Ltd.

The board of the BKF would also like to add their condolences on behalf of the British karate fraternity.

A sad loss indeed.
