Dave Inman is a fully qualified Osteopath who runs a successful Osteopathic and Sports Injury Clinic in Bath, where he treats a wide variety of sportsmen and women such as professional rugby players, elite athletes, and keen amateurs.
He has worked as a Consultant Osteopath to Coventry Rugby Club as well as with individuals at National level in Triathlon (World Championships 2007 Hamburg), Karate (Commonwealth Karate Championships 2008 Edinburgh), Ultra-Racing and Motor Cross.
Dave is a keen sportsman himself and has competed at international level at karate, currently holding the grade of 6th Dan in Shotokan Karate.
Prior to studying Osteopathy, Dave completed 22 years in the Armed Forces, serving in the REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) With the blessing of his Commanding Officer he spent six months studying karate in Japan and, upon his return, received the prestigious Rory Cape Award in recognition of his enterprising sporting achievements. In addition, he played representative football for the Corps, as well as coaching the Army football team.
Dave holds the F.A. Advanced Coaching Licence, as well as the F.A. Medical Diploma in Treatment and Management of Sports Injuries. He is also an F.A. Tutor for the delivery of the F.A. Emergency Aid Course.
